BON JOVI GETS THE VANDERQUEST TREATMENT

Legendary rock band Bon Jovi have had their video catalogue remastered to HD. Huge hits including ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’, ‘Runaway’, ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’, ‘I’ll Be There For You’, ‘Bed Of Roses’ and ‘Always’ have all had our specialised array of treatments.

The monster hit ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ was remade in Ultra HD from the original 16mm negatives. This is becoming an extremely popular treatment, especially with the big hits, and involves scanning the film at 4K, shot finding/matching using the original video as a reference followed by colour grading and digital restoration to remove scratches, dirt and blemishes.

The result is a true 4K video which looks like it was shot yesterday (minus the hair!):

The project also involved the creation of multiple social media assets for the artist to post on their accounts to support the release of each video.
